Our story

Steve and the twins

Steve Wahnsiedler opened Bedford Auto Service as a one-man shop. Within the first year his twin sons, Dan and Darrel, were working there part time, through high school and then college.

Steve was born and raised in Evansville and has worked on cars since he was about 14, back before electronic ignition and fuel injection. Darrel takes the light-duty diesels; Dan takes the tricky timing jobs, and the simple stuff too.
